Though I understand this is a highly sensitive subject. I would be interested to know if anyone feels there is a strong link between High functioning Autism and Judaism. I have two children that are Autistic-Aspergers Syndrome High Functioning Autistic. I have been researching and found that many traits that folk commonly associate with Jewish people ( said in the positive sense). We are a very proud race and do not like to show any of our frailties and that is understandable with the history we have endured but I have noticed this genetic link to Autism and it shows in so many Jewish people, (Einstein is a simple example of this).

`Who knows? my son has Aspergers, but his other 3 siblings do not. I believe there are other eccentric people from other ethnic groups could be thought of as having the same traits as those with Aspergers as well.:)
